Story

Our Poseidonia Beach Hotel in Limassol was one of the first hotels built in Cyprus, making it a Historic Hotel. Construction work started in 1976 and we celebrated the official grand opening in 1979 as a 5 Star Hotel.

Our Hotel

Our Hotel not only was one of the few on the island, but it slowly became one of the best as well. After several years of self-running the hotel, the management of the Poseidonia Beach Hotel was rented out for fourteen consecutive years (1989-2013). In 2014, the owners of the hotel decided to take over the management and run the Poseidonia Beach Hotel themselves. The current Management team took on the challenge & insisted on keeping the same name “Poseidonia Beach Hotel”. 

Constructions

Since January 2014 the hotel has been undergoing important renovations. Construction work was done on the outside of the building, all public areas have been face-lifted and all our rooms have been renovated. A new Beach Bar with a unique Mediterranean Tapas concept has been created and was ranked among the top 10 Beach Bars in Limassol after it’s first year of operation.

New Ideas

New ideas and a young spirit have been introduced to revive the old legacy of Poseidonia and bring back the reputation and image that it first launched with back in 1978. Thought has been put into renewing our identity while maintaining the essence of our past. The Story of Poseidon, God of the Sea in the Greek Mythology, is still embedded and present, creating an environment in which our guests will spend long life memories.
